I remember myself when I was a young kid, I would stand before a dead bird underneath a tree and gaze at it, reflect on myself the power of nature then my mom would always be the one pull me away from this pity bird. For years I had lost that feeling, and suddenly when I was wondering around looking for a new site I found these dead pigeons the feeling is back. These also brought me to my starting point of site selection and performance program.
These trapped dead pigeons located underneath Druid street viaduct (near bike repair store)it appeared to me not just disgusted but also pity in someway, although I personally think there are far too many pigeon flying around london yet it is still part of the nature.(this is also raised by the recent crisis in Japan). The surrounding trees are already part of the forgotten space where we don't really get noticed of what its here doing for us.
These can also be seen in the St John's churchyard, an open forgotten space where the original usage has been neglected for awhile, people taking shortcut as their route; people dropping rubbish. What about the nature?
